In February 1999
contamination in the soil was discovered at the site during piping line upgrades. A
subsequent site investigation and remediation of the petroleum hydrocarbon impacted
soil and groundwater were performed. Current concentrations of contaminants in
groundwater show a generally decreasing trend, water quality goals are expected to be
achieved by 2021, and no further action related to the release at the site is being
considered at this time.
If you have any comments regarding the closure of this case please submit them to
Nuel Henderson at the EHD office address above. The deadline for submittal of
comments is November 30, 2011.
Sincerely,
Lori Duncan, REHS Nuel C.
