WILSON WAY (KNOWLES/ROEK)
OUR PROPOSED AGENDA FOR MEETING
Ron: We simply want direction with respect to our September 17, 1999 Workplan and the
specific items proposed therein. We need to be able to make a decision re additional SVE
and/or other reasonable and necessary remediation...continued SVE with the current
configuration is not cost effective. We also want to be able to arrive at a consensus as to
foreseeable endpoints to corrective action.
We are not proposing closure at this time but simply proposing the acquision and evaluation of
the data needed to determine if additional active remediation is warranted. We need workplan
approval in order to secure the funding to move forward. We would like to address the
following:
• What are the agency objections (if any) to the proposed work?
• What additions or modifications to the proposed work would you like to see?
Significant data gaps?
• Assuming monitored natural attenuation will not be rejected out of hand, what
technical assurances will be required for agency acceptance?
• Discussion of reasonable cleanup goals and timeframe to achieve those goals.
Act_ Ivy/LiHQ kSW EKctlAAi,
• Status of investigations of encroaching contamination from offsite sources, including
recognition of potential impact to the onsite cleanup effort.
