This report contains a
{ summary of previous findings and the results of the current phase of field investiga-
tions and chemical analyses.
In general, this phase of wort: resulted in the identification of no significant levels of
fuel in shallow soils at the site. No contamination of soils beneath the main fuel tank
area was identified in this current effort. Yet water acquired from well MW 3 exhib-
ited significant levels of benzene and other fuel constituents. It is our opinion from
-- the data now available that these high Ieveis of fuel components may have migrated
from some as yet unidentified off-site source.
1 If you have any questions regarding this report, please contact either of the under-
signed at(707) 864-2020.
EVery Truly Yours,
BALBI&CH"G ASSO CL4 TZS
Db A Richesin _ 19
Engineering Geologist
C.E. 1055
/ l//II ,r;tom+ ,r C e4 . •\1 1.')I'!1,'Y e 11
Phi L.Ch'a:n .E. _ ;S •} ; )j
Pri ipal Engi er
GE 204 , !
