' <br /> Groundwater Samoiing <br /> Representative groundwater samples will be collected from each of the two <br /> newly installed monitoring wells and from each of the three existing <br /> monitoring wells. The samples will be collected using a teflon bailer. <br /> Each well will be bailed in an attempt to purge a minimum quantity of water <br /> and assure a representative aquifer sample, while field monitoring pH, <br /> conductivity, and temperature to establish stability. All equipment will <br /> be cleaned prior to use and between monitoring well samplings to ensure <br /> that cross contamination does not occur. <br /> LABORATORY ANALYSIS <br /> Analvtical Methods <br /> The analytical methods referred to above conform to EPA T <br /> est_Me_tho_ds for <br /> Eyaivatin Soii Waste Physical/Chemical Methods (SW-846, 2nd Edition), <br /> Methods for Organic Chemical Analysis of . MtrOicioai _and_ Industrial <br /> Wastewater, USEPA 600-I4-057, applicable methudologies from Standard <br /> Methods of Examination of Water. and 6lastewater, 16 Edition, and/or as <br /> specified in the Leaking Underground Fuel Tank Manuai (LUF7), modified <br /> EPA SW-846 Method 80I5. The laboratory ar;alyzing V;_, coil and groundwa- <br /> ter samples will be Superior Analytical, Inc., a 0045-certified labors- <br /> tory. (DOHS certification is enclosed.) <br /> All samples will be collected and preserved according to approved EPA <br /> methodology; samples will be cooled to 4 degrees C at the site and <br /> maintained at that temperature until they are received at the laboratory. <br /> All samples will be analyzed or extracted prior to expiration of approved <br /> holding times. <br /> Completed records will be kept on all samples including sampling date, <br /> sample type, preservation (if any) and location of sample.
