WILSON WAY <br /> STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> sONKOWSKI&ASSOCIATES Bonkowski & Associates (B &A) are pleased to present this plan to assist the <br /> Knowles with their underground storage tank cleanup fund application at the <br /> former Knowles Gas Station located at 102 S Wilson Way, Stockton, <br /> California The Knowles are submitting this application based upon costs that <br /> Lafayette <br /> P sox 1�5� would be incurred by them for future site investigation and mitigation <br /> Cahforma 94549 <br /> (510)264 3552 FAX To assist to this claim application,B &A have prepared a conceptual <br /> (5 0) 283 9042 remedial investigation plan to further define the groundwater contamination <br /> plume in the downgradient direction at the site A feasibility study to mitigate <br /> the contamination in the groundwater plume and a corrective action plan to <br /> remove contaminated soils from the northwest corner of the site are also <br /> presented Our findings are based upon the reports of investigations conducted <br /> by previous consultants, namely Balb>i &Chang Associates(BCA), Leedshill- <br /> Herkenhoff Inc (LH), and Kennedy/Jenks Consultants (KJC) <br /> The tasks required to complete claim application are based upon Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB)Guidelines for Addressing Fuel <br /> Leaks We have merged these requirements with those outlined to Chapter 18 <br /> Petroleum Underground Tank Cleanup Fund Regulations and the Petroleum <br /> Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund Application Package, California <br /> State Water Resources Control Board These guidelines require that the work <br /> be conducted and reported in phases The described phases and their reports to <br /> support an underground storage tank cleanup fund application include <br /> 1. Preliminary Site Assessment Phase <br /> - A Preliminary Report to assess the site with suggested <br /> boteholes and monitoring wells needed to determine site status <br /> 2.
