(Ground Zero) has prepared this report to summarize fieldwork
conductcd at the subject site during the fourth quarter of 2004. Groundwater related activities
included monitoring groundwater elevations in all site wells; sampling groundwater from
' monitoring wells MW3 through MW6, MWS, MW10, MW11, and MW13B though MW1613;
and vapor wells VW4 and VW6.
' Groundwater analysis consisted of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), benzene,
toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX), 1,2 dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), ethylene
dibromide (EDB), and gasoline oxygenate additives [methyl-tent-butyl ether (MTBE), ethyl-
' tert-butyl ether (ETBE), di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), tert-amyl methyl ether (TAME) and tert-
butyl alcohol (TBA)I.
' The soil vapor extraction system was not in operation during the quarter.
' GROUNDWATER ACTIVITIES
' Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling
Depth to groundwater was measured on November 16, 2004 in monitoring wells MW 1 through
' MW16B and in vapor wells VW1 through VW6. Depth to groundwater was then subtracted
from each respective wellhead elevation to determine groundwater elevation. Water levels at
• the site fell an average of 1.13 feet since the third quarter event in August 2004. The
11GZA_FSIVOL.31DATA1GROUNDZ.EIROEKIOMR1200414gm2004.doc
