• There are 7 municipal water wells within 6000 feet radius of the <br /> site. Locations of these wells are shown on Plate 3 . Based on <br /> the information obtained from California Water Services, the <br /> groundwater level at these wells ranged from 48 feet to 63 feet. <br /> Within 1500 feet of the site, the groundwater level ranged from <br /> 55 to 58 feet. <br /> III. PROPOSED FIELD EXPLORATION PROGRAM <br /> The proposed field exploration investigation will consist of <br /> drilling of three test borings at the approximate locations shown <br /> on the Boring Location Map, Plate 4 . All borings will be made <br /> with a truck-mounted drill rig equipped with 3-1/4" I . D. hollow <br /> stem augers. All test borings will be logged by our field engi- <br /> neer, who will also obtain representative soil samples for labo- <br /> ratory testing. The soil encountered in test borings will be <br /> classified by the Unified Soil Classification System. <br /> Each test borings will be completed into a monitoring wells in <br /> accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Environmental <br /> Health Staff dated July 22 , 1987 , "Monitoring Well Inspections" <br /> of the San Joaquin Local Health District. <br /> Soil and water sampling techniques and monitoring well <br /> construction are based upon the guidelines set forth by the <br /> California REgional Water Quality Control Board (CRWQCB) . <br /> 2 <br />
