Wilson Way <br /> Stockton, California <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has received and reviewed Well <br /> Installation Work Plan (WP), dated 04 November 2005, prepared for the above-referenced site <br /> prepared by Stratus Environmental, Inc. (Stratus). <br /> In the WP, Stratus has proposed installation of three groundwater monitoring wells to assess <br /> potentially impacted groundwater around the dispenser island as recommended by EHD. The <br /> proposed wells will be installed to total depth of 53 feet below surface grade and will have 20 <br /> feet of 0.020-inch slotted screen set at total depth. Soil samples will be collected at 5-foot <br /> intervals, with selected samples to be submitted for laboratory analysis. <br /> EHD approves the proposed scope of work as necessary and adequate for this phase of <br /> investigation. Please include ethylene dibromide as a reported compound in the proposed <br /> analytical suite of compounds for the soil samples. Submit a drilling permit application <br /> accompanied by the $89.00 permit fee to EHD. Initiate the work plan within 60 days of date of <br /> this letter and notify EHD at least 48 hours prior to the initiation of field activities.
