(Delta), on behalf of Atlantic Richfield Company <br /> �1 (ARCO), is 'submitting this work plan to conduct an;additional site assessment at ARCO ; <br /> Facility No. 5469 (the Site). The Site is located at 130 South Wilson Way, Stockton, ! <br /> California (Figure 1). The purpose of the additional assessment activities is to further <br /> evaluate the extent of petroleum hydrocarbon impact, soil and groundwater northeast of <br /> existing monitoring wells MW-4, MW-5, and MW=6. In addition, a survey to identify r <br /> h water supply wells located within a 2,000-foot radius`:of the site will be completed. <br /> SITE BACKGROUND +' <br /> In February1999, the IT Group (IT) observed the removal and replacement of product <br /> lines and associated dispensers. Soil samples were collectedat depths ranging between <br /> 3.3 to 5.5 feet below ground surface (bgs) in they vicinity of the product lines and , <br /> dispenser locations following their removal. Samples collected in the vicinity of the <br /> dispenser islands indicated the presence of total petroleum; hydrocarbons as gasoline <br /> (TPHG) at concentrations ranging up to 7.32 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg); benzene ; <br /> at a concentration of 0.187 mg/kg; tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA) at 44 mg/kg; and methyl <br /> tertiary butyl ether(MTBE) ranging up to 5.16 mg/kg (1T, 2000). <br /> .il . <br /> CAARC0154691Work Plan15469wrkpin.doc ;.
