The data from
boring P1 indicate that contamination does not extend beyond 25 feet beneath
the former UST.
Groundwater at nearby sites has been reported at depths ranging from 50 to 70
feet below ground surface. At this time PHS/EHD recommends that you submit a
workplan which will describe a method to define the extent of petroleum
hydrocarbons in soil, and allow the flexibility to perform a groundwater
investigation, if field observations indicate the presence of hydrocarbon
contamination in groundwater.
Please contact Steven Sasson, Senior REHS, at (209) 468-3459 for additional
information.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Envi onmental Health Division
Y76,
//,")/,, _7y'tA"% AS"
Steven Sasson, Senior REHS Margar t Lagorio, REHS
LOP/Site Mitigation Unit IV Supervisor
C., RWQCB, Central Valley Region - Elizabeth Thayer
C* Johsua Ong, Advanced Geoenvironmental
c: Timothy Cuellar, Advanced Geoenvironmental
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
