a✓
[1e2T2k - CRATM COMPANY
November 5, 1997
-7
S)
Mr. Ronald Rowe
San Joaquin County Public Health Services,
Environmental Health Division
304 East Weber Avenue
Stockton,California 95202
Subject: Limited Site Investigation Program
2421 N. Wilson Way,Stockton, California
Reference No. 9915
Dear Mr. Rowe;
On October 2, 1997, TreaTek-CRA Company (TreaTek), conducted a Limited Site
Investigation of a former underground storage tank (UST) location at the 2421 N.
Wilson Way Site in Stockton, California (Figure 1). This investigation was conducted on
behalf of the site owner, Mr. Robert Reeder.
The investigation was completed at the request of San Joaquin County Public Health
Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) to in part satisfy the "Corrective
Action Regulations" as stipulated by PHS-EHD in their July 21, 1997 letter to Mr.
Reeder. Site activities were conducted as outlined in the September 25, 1997 letter
workplan to Mr. Ronald Rowe of PHS-EHD (approved September 29, 1997) prepared by
TreaTek and as directed by onsite PHS-EHD personnel.
SITE INVESTIGATION ACTIVITIES
The Limited Site Investigation Program conducted by TreaTek consisted of the
collection and analysis of soil samples from a small excavation and soil stockpile
(approximately 5 cu. yds.) located adjacent to the former sales and service building (see
Figure 2) at the Wilson Way site. The seven foot deep excavation (September 16, 1997)
was conducted to unearth soil suspected to be contaminated with gasoline related
compounds resulting from leaking subsurface piping associated with a UST and
dispensing unit that were removed in 1991. Soil samples from the excavation were
collected on October 2, 1997 as part of the investigation and under the supervision of
Mr. Ronald Rowe.
Environmental Technology & Remediation Systems
2055 Niagara Falls Blvd. 2441 Crowne Point Drive 202 Val Dervin Parkway
Suite Three Cincinnati, OH 45241 Suite 400
Niagara Falls, NY 14304 513/326-7600 Stockton, CA 95206
716/297-2160 FAX 513/326-7601 209/983-6810
FAX 716/297-2265 FAX 209/983-6960
