Wilson Way, Stockton, CA (Site Code: 1306)
Dear Mr. Infurna:
This letter report presents the results of the second quarter 2007 corrective. action activities at the
subject site (Figure 1).
SITE ACTIVITIES
Activities at the site included monitoring water level elevations and purging and sampling
groundwater. All samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg),
benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, total xylenes (BTEX), gasoline oxygenate additives, 1,2-
dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), and ethylene dibromide (EDB).
FIELDWORK
Groundwater Monitoring
Based upon the observation at the adjacent U-Haul site that potentiometric surface elevation and
-- groundwater flow varies with completion depth, the wells at the site have informally been divided
into three zones of completion: a shallow or "A Zone' represented by wells MW 1, MW2, MW3
and MW4; an intermediate zone ("B Zone") represented by wells MW5, MW6 and MW7; and a
deeper "C Zone" represented by MW1D
On June 19, 2007, water levels were measured in the site monitoring wells. Depth to
groundwater in the shallow A Zone wells (MW 1 through MW4) ranged from 46.42 feet below i
the top of casing (btoc) to 47.17 feet btoc. ,Depth to groundwater in the intermediate B Zone
wells (MW5 through MW7) ranged from 45.42 feet btoc to 45.93 feet btoc.
