All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The current chlorine level inside of the pool is being measured at 0.4 PPM.Adjust and maintain the <br /> chlorine level at 2-10 PPM at all times during operational hours. Pool closure until a correction has been made. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Safety signs contain the information required, however they are fading and becoming illegible. Re-write <br /> or provide a new sign to ensure the safety material is legible. Correct as soon as possible. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535)Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole,gate, or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 31208) <br /> #35 Flow Meters <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The current flow rate meter is currently stuck due to age or debris that has made its way into the meter. <br /> repair or replace to ensure a functioning flow rate meter. Correct before next routine inspection. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Flow meters shall be provided on each recirculation system and shall be installed in accordance with <br /> manufacturer's specifications.
