All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The current chlorine levels for the spa is reading 0.2 PPM.Adjust and maintain chlorine levels between <br /> 3-10 PPM. Spa closure until corrections have been made. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #12 pH Level MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The pH is currently reading a level higher than 8.0. Keep and maintain pH level between 7.2-7.8 at all <br /> times. Spa closure until corrections are made. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br /> #30 Pool Equipment and Plumbing Maintained <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed a small leakage from the chlorinator(chlorine inlet)that is used for the spa. Repair or replace <br /> to ensure no leakage of chemicals into the environment. Correct before pool is able to be used for operation. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All equipment related to pool operations shall be installed and maintained in accordance with manufacturer's <br /> specifications and shall comply with applicable requirements established by applicable NSF/ANSI-50 performance standards. (CBC <br /> 3123B) <br /> #36 Pressure and Vacuum Gauges <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The spa currently does not contain an influent gauge, provide in order to monitor the pressure levels to <br /> determine when the filtration system is in need of a backwash. Correct before next routine inspection. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pressure and vacuum gauges shall be provided for each pump system.
