Board of Housing Appeals Meeting
Staff Report — 1640 North Myran Avenue, Stockton
B. Appellant Position
The Appellant states that an eviction has been started due to unauthorized and
violent squatters on the property and living in unit #3, 4 & 2 (1). Once the eviction
was completed we fenced the property, hauled out all debris and pulled required
permits to get the property back in order. (Copy of eviction forms and permits
attached)
C. Environmental Health Department Position
In accordance with Board of Supervisors Resolution R-90-620, the Environmental
Health Department is directed to recover all costs related to substandard housing
activities. The Environmental Health Department has reviewed the costs charged to
the case and has determined that they are reasonable and consistent with Board of
Supervisor resolutions, the San Joaquin County Ordinance Code, and housing
program activity protocols.
V. Recommended Action
The Environmental Health Department recommends that the Board of Housing
Appeals:
Confirm the Statement of Expense dated July 10, 2017, and deny the appeal.
