INTRODUCTION <br /> The following report supplements the Soil and Ground Water <br /> Assessment Report dated December 16, 1985 and covers the soil <br /> investigation performed at the Guild Wineries facility located at <br /> 1 Winemasters Way in Lodi, California. Guild Wineries requested <br /> J. H. Kleinfelder and Associates (JHK&A) to conduct a site <br /> investigation to further assess the presence of gasoline related . <br /> constituents in the soil adjacent to an excavated underground <br /> storage tank. The site investigation was performed in accordance <br /> with a plan of study developed in concert with Guild Wineries, <br /> y� the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB), and the San Joaquin Department of Health. This report <br /> describes the work elements associated with the test borings and <br /> -- soil sampling, and summarizes and discusses the analytical <br /> results obtained to date. <br /> II. BACKGROUND <br /> — The Guild Wineries facility is located at 1 Winemasters Way <br /> in the City of Lodi, as shown on Plate No. 1.
