Mune 10, 1968
t
kleirfelder
9795 Business Park Dr b e; Suite D
Sacramento, CA 95827
Ir Attention: Mr. Dave Cook
Subject Report of Data - Case Number 1472
Dear Mr. Cook:
The technical staff at CHEM WEST is pleased to provide our report for the
analyses you requested: BTEX - EPA Method 602; and TPH EXTN / GC--FILA.
Ten water samples for Project number 24-2035-04 were received May 12,
1988 in good condition. Results of the analyses along with the analytical
methodology and appropriate reporting limits, are presented on the following
page(s).
GC FID analysis ysis of samples CKEMWEST-1472-6 and 1472-10 indicate the
presence of a mixture of mid range unknown hydrocarbons not identified as
i
gasoline or diesel fuel. Quantitation was based an a gasoline standard curve.
Analysis of samples CHEM WEST-1472-2,3 and 5 also indicate the presence of
unknown hydrocarbons, however in these samples heavier components in the
. range of diesel fuel are identified, and therefore quantitation was based on a
diesel fuel standard curve.
The fingerprint pattern presentation for positive values determined in these
1.71
samples is similar for the entire set, however the response
for the mid range
and later hydrocarbons vary in each sample. Possibilities would include an
altered gasoline and diesel fuel mixture.
I .-
C:
600W North Market Boulevard Sacramento,CA 95634 Phone(916)923-0840 FAX(916)923-1936
A Subsidiary of CompuChem Corporation
