1 <br /> ' 30 October 2002 <br /> • AGE-NC Project No 98-0492 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> 3 2 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> rMTBE was detected In the water sample collected from well MW2 at a concentration of 0 60 gg/l <br /> No additional analytes were detected at or above laboratory reporting limits in the ground water <br /> ' samples <br /> The analytical results of ground water samples are summarized on Table 3 The laboratory reports <br /> ' (MAI Lab I D No 0208115-001 through 0208115-003), QA/QC report and chain-of-custody form <br /> are included in Appendix B <br /> ' 4.0 SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS <br /> ' Based on the data collected from the site, AGE concludes <br /> • The depth to ground water at the site on 07 August 2002was between 23 10 to 24 37 feet <br /> ' below the well casing tops The prevailing ground water flow direction at the site was <br /> generally toward the northwest with a hydraulic gradient of 0 002 feet/feet, consistent with <br /> the previously determined flow directions Ground water elevations at the site decreased an <br /> '! average 2 84 feet between the May 2002 and August 2002 sampling events <br /> • MTBE was detected in the water sample collected from well MW2 at a concentration of <br /> ' 0 60 gg/1 The concentration of MTBE detected is below the State of California Primary <br /> Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) of 5 0 gg/l for MTBE in drinking water <br /> • No other analytes were detected at or above laboratory reporting limits in the ground water <br /> ' samples analyzed <br /> ' 5.0 RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> ' Based on the findings of the environmental activities recounted in this report,AGE recommends the <br /> site be considered for closure due to low and non-detectable concentrations of contaminants in the <br /> samples collected from wells MW 1, MW2 and MW3 over the past three quarters <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br /> ' Advanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> r <br />
