Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2002 <br /> QUICKI-KLEEN CAR WASH <br /> 707 East Yosemite Avenue, Manteca, California <br /> ' 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> t At the request of Ms MaryLou Pontes of Quicki-Kleen Car Wash,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, <br /> Inc (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 707 East Yosemite Avenue, <br /> Manteca, California The scope of work included monitoring and sampling three ground water <br /> monitoring wells and preparation of this report The site and the surrounding area are illustrated on <br /> Figure 1 Structures,boring and well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Background information <br /> is summarized in the AGE-prepared Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report, dated <br /> 19 March 2001 Ground water analytical data from the current and previous investigations can be <br /> found in Tables 1 and 2 <br /> ' 2.0 PROCEDURES <br /> ' Field work was conducted and this report was prepared in accordance with guidelines issued by the <br /> Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for subsurface investigation <br /> of underground storage tank (UST) sites and guidelines issued by the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD) for sampling ground water monitoring wells <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> Ground water sampling of wells MW 1, MW2 and MW3 was conducted on 08 May 2002 For the <br /> ' sampling event, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in the <br /> three wells relative to the tops of the well easings The ground water elevations and gradient were <br /> ' determined from this data (Table 1) <br /> After recording water level measurements, disposable plastic bailers were used to purge the wells <br /> ' of standing water,approximately 5 gallons ofwater(a minimum of 3 casing water-volumes per well) <br /> were removed Ground water temperature, pH and conductivity were measured at regular intervals <br /> during purging using an Oakton water analyzer Purged ground water was containerized in properly <br /> labeled DOT-approved model 17H 55-gallon drums and stored on-site Field sheets and data are <br /> included in Appendix A <br /> 22 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> Water samples were collected from each purged well using new disposable plastic bailers after <br /> 11I vc[1iiYiv • uv uaxaluivilvu "'vw kx—v%l -1111 ♦ VL`1 T'"10 v -1 1111 lu/U 11yU1VV111V11L QL111 ab d <br /> I <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
