GROUNDWATER MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION RESULTS REPORT <br /> 707 East Yosemite Avenue Manteca Galdomia <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This report documents groundwater monitoring well installation and sampling conducted <br /> by Aegis Environmental, Inc (Aegis), at the Quicki-Kleen Carwash, located at 707 East <br /> Yosemite Avenue, Manteca, California (Figure 1) This report is based, in part, on <br /> information obtained by Aegis from the Quicki-Kleen Carwash, and is subject to <br /> modification as newly acquired information may warrant <br /> 1.1 PurDose <br /> The purpose of this investigation was to evaluate the vertical and horizontal extent of <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons,Ef any, within the shallow soil and groundwater beneath the site <br /> 1.2 Scoae <br /> The completed scope of work, summarized below, was conducted according to the <br /> Aegis' standard operating procedures (SOP) included in Appendix A <br /> On August 13, 1993, three soil borings were drilled, logged, and sampled <br /> to depths of approximately 30 to 35 feet below existing grade (bg) <br /> • 0 Based on the results of field inspection for evidence of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons, eight soil samples collected from the borings were submitted <br /> to a state-certified laboratory for analysis <br /> • The borings were completed as 2-inch-diameter groundwater monitoring <br /> wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3 <br /> • On August 17, 1993,depth-to-groundwater measurements and groundwater <br /> samples were collected by Aegis personnel The samples were submitted <br /> to a state-certified laboratory for analysis <br /> • On August 25, 1993, the top-of-well casing elevations were surveyed by a <br /> licensed surveyor <br /> The data was reviewed and a results report of the investigation prepared <br /> i <br /> 93-010A RER 1 <br />
