To obtain a copy, please contact the State Water Resources Control Board at (916) 637-2390. <br /> Trie "Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations For Preliminary Evaluation and Investigation of <br /> underground Tank Sites" along with its "Appendix A " and "Appendix B"should be used asguidance <br /> documents. All work and reports which require geological or engineering evaluations must be <br /> performed, under the direction of an appropriately California registered or certified professional. <br /> A Remedial Action Completion fetter will be provided after PHS/EHD has determined that no <br /> further site investigation or remedial action is required. <br /> As reported by Advanced Geo Environmental, Inc., analytical results of zwo grab water samples <br /> collected from the east and west ends of the 8,000 gallon UST on October 13, 1998 during a site <br /> assessment at the above referenced site were 120 parts per billion (ppb) and 20CC ppb Total Petroleum <br /> Hydrocarbon as diesel (TPH-d). As reported by Krazan &associates, Inc., analytical results of the soil' <br /> sample collected from beneath the east dispenser were 4.5 partsper million (ppm) Methyl ten-Bury] <br /> Ether (MTBE), and 2.4 ppm Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon as gasoline (TPH-g). Analvtical results of <br /> the soil sample collected from between the east and west dispensers were 6?TPH-d. Analytical results <br /> of the soil sample collected from the west dispenser were 4.3 ppm MTBE and 2.1 TPH-g. Analvtical <br /> esults of the composite sample collected from the stockpile were 0.38 ppm MTBE, 18 ppm I PH-g, and <br /> 1,200 oom TPI -d. <br /> Submit a work plan that will define the lateral and vertical extent of the contamination at the dispensers <br /> and former 8,000-gallon USI' by July 2C, 1999.
