Hydrocarbon fuels - Components of fuels are colorless liquids with strong aromatic <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon-like odors. They are flammable and have low solubility in water. <br /> Exposure to these materials in excess of recommended exposure limits can cause mild eye, <br /> nose, and throat irritation and can produce a narcotic effect on the central nervous system. <br /> Symptoms of exposure at these concentratio s include headache, nausea, drowsiness, <br /> dizziness,and loss of coordination. Certain components of gasohne(BTE&X etc.)are known <br /> or suspected carcinogens. <br /> The following additional hazards are expected on site: twical work related to facility.
