aqua scle ce <br /> vr� 1 MMT � . engineers inc_ <br /> OCT -� <br /> October 3, 2000 <br /> Leonor and Tony Gonsales <br /> 469 Fishback Road <br /> Manteca, CA 95337 <br /> SUBJECT WATER WELL SAMPLING RESULTS <br /> 2014 West Yosemite Avenue <br /> Manteca, CA 95337 <br /> Dear Leonor and Tony Gonsales <br /> On September 19, 2000, Aqua Science Engineers, Inc (ASE) collected <br /> groundwater samples from the domestic well located on your property at <br /> 2014 West Yosemite Avenue in Manteca, California The samples were <br /> submitted to Kiff Analytical Laboratory in Davis, California for analysis <br /> • Groundwater samples collected from your well contained 4 5 parts per <br /> billion (ppb) 1,2-dachloropropane A confirmation groundwater sample <br /> collected from the well on September 21, 2000 contained 4 0 ppb 1 ,2- <br /> dichloropropane The California Department of Health Services (DHS) <br /> has established a maximum contaminant level (MCL) for 1 ,2- <br /> dichloropropane in drinking water of 5 ppb The 1 ,2-dichloropropane <br /> concentration detected in groundwater samples collected from your well <br /> on both occasions did not exceed the DHS MCL for drinking water <br /> The chemical 1,2-dichloropropane has many possible uses including uses <br /> as a pesticide, fumigant and degreaser If you have any questions <br /> regarding 1,2-dichloropropane, please contact Mr Ron Rowe of the San <br /> Joaquin County Public Health Services at (209) 468-0342 <br /> Although the 1,2-dichloropropane concentrations detected on both <br /> occasions did not exceed the DHS MCL for drinking water, you may wish <br /> to consider using bottled water for drinking and cooking A copy of this <br /> letter is being sent to Mr Tony Gonsales, who I understand is the tenant at <br /> the site I also understand that there is a second tenant at the site Please <br /> notify the second tenant of these results and please provide us with t h e <br /> �) name, address and phone number of the second tenant so that we can <br /> directly contact them on future correspondence <br /> 208 W El Pinto& Road, Danville, California 94526 • 925-820-9391 • Fax 925-837-4853 <br />
