aqua science <br /> engineer <br /> M WPMis Inc <br /> September 21, 2000 <br /> Carol Copeland <br /> 1324 Trailwood Avenue <br /> Manteca, CA 95336 <br /> SUBJECT CONFIRMATION WATER WELL SAMPLING RESULTS <br /> 17933 South Airport Way <br /> Manteca, CA 95337 <br /> Dear Ms Copeland <br /> On August 10, 2000, Aqua Science Engineers resampled the groundwater <br /> well at 17933 South Airport Way This is the well on the east side of the <br /> property which services the front house The groundwater samples were <br /> once again analyzed by Kiff Analytical of Davis, California This <br /> confirmation sample contained 64 parts per billion (ppb) methyl tertiary <br /> butyl ethei (MTBE) and 071 ppb 1 ,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA) These <br /> results confu m the results of our initial sampling, and these <br /> concentrations once again exceed California Department of Health <br /> Seivices (DHS) maximum contaminant levels (MCLs) for drinking watei <br /> A water tank continuously filled with city water has been connected to the <br /> household plumbing to provide clean water to the house on a temporary <br /> basis Please continue to not use water from the well for drinking or <br /> cooking until further notice <br /> 208 W El Pintado, Danville, California 94526 • 925 820-9391 • Fox 925-837-4853 <br />
