,w science <br /> iffi <br /> _ -W i engineers loc. <br /> April 30, 2001 <br /> Leonor and Tony Gonsales <br /> 469 Fishback Road <br /> Manteca, CA 95337 <br /> SUBJECT WATER WELL SAMPLING RESULTS <br /> 2014 West Yosemite Avenue <br /> Manteca, CA 95337 <br /> Dear Leonor and Tony Gonsales <br /> 4n April 13, 2001, Aqua Science Engineers, Inc (ASE) collected <br /> groundwater samples from the domestic well located on your property at <br /> 2014 West Yosemite Avenue in Manteca, California to confirm the results <br /> from the March 13, 2001 sampling The samples were submitted to Kiff <br /> Analytical Laboratory in Davis, California for analysis <br /> This water sample was collected to confirm the presence of methanol a n d <br /> the concentration of 1,2-dichloropropane (1,2-DCP) in a sample collected <br /> on March 13, 2001 Methanol was not present above laboratory detection <br /> limits in this second sample The concentration of 1,2-DCP in t h e <br /> confirmation sample was 44 parts per billion (ppb), which is below the <br /> California Department of Health Services (DHS) maximum contaminant <br /> level (MCL) for drinking water Even though the 1,2-DCP concentration is <br /> now below the DHS MCL for drinking water, ASE highly recommends that <br /> you consider using bottled water for drinking and cooking <br /> A copy of this letter is being sent to Mr Tony Gonsales, who w e <br /> understand is the tenant at the site We also understand that there is a <br /> second tenant at the site Please notify the second tenant of these results <br /> and please provide us with the name, address and phone number of the <br /> second tenant so that we can directly contact them on future <br /> correspondence <br /> If you have any questions regarding the groundwater situation, please <br /> contact Ms. Dot Lofstrom of the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services at (209) 468-3436 In addition, ASE would like to continue to <br /> sample your well on a periodic basis, and we will continue to provide y o u <br /> 208 W El P,nrado, Danville California 94526 • 925-820-9391 - Fax 925-837-4853 <br />
