April 30, 2001 Leonor and Tony Gonsales 469 Fishback Road Manteca, CA 95337 SUBJECT WATER WELL SAMPLING RESULTS 2014 West Yosemite Avenue Manteca, CA 95337 Dear Leonor and Tony Gonsales 4n April 13, 2001, Aqua Science Engineers, Inc (ASE) collected groundwater samples from the domestic well located on your property at 2014 West Yosemite Avenue in Manteca, California to confirm the results from the March 13, 2001 sampling The samples were submitted to Kiff Analytical Laboratory in Davis, California for analysis This water sample was collected to confirm the presence of methanol a n d the concentration of 1,2-dichloropropane (1,2-DCP) in a sample collected on March 13, 2001 Methanol was not present above laboratory detection limits in this second sample The concentration of 1,2-DCP in t h e confirmation sample was 44 parts per billion (ppb), which is below the California Department of Health Services (DHS) maximum contaminant level (MCL) for drinking water Even though the 1,2-DCP concentration is now below the DHS MCL for drinking water, ASE highly recommends that you consider using bottled water for drinking and cooking A copy of this letter is being sent to Mr Tony Gonsales, who w e understand is the tenant at the site We also understand that there is a second tenant at the site Please notify the second tenant of these results and please provide us with the name, address and phone number of the second tenant so that we can directly contact them on future correspondence If you have any questions regarding the groundwater situation, please contact Ms. Dot Lofstrom of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services at (209) 468-3436 In addition, ASE would like to continue to sample your well on a periodic basis, and we will continue to provide y o u 208 W El P,nrado, Danville California 94526 • 925-820-9391 - Fax 925-837-4853
