WATER r , <br /> CAL RESULTS <br /> • The only compound identified in Sample 17886 Aripoit Way (the pi e- <br /> tieated water Sample) was MTBE at 058 ppb <br /> • No compounds were identified in sample 17886-GAC-02-06-02 which <br /> was collected after GAC canister number 1 This proves that the <br /> treatment System is working as designed and that no MTBE of any <br /> other compounds analyzed ai e entering the house's plumbing system <br /> QUARTERLY ()PERATION AND MAINTENANCE, SAMPLING AND <br /> REPORTING <br /> ASE is currently under contract to perfoi m quarterly operation a n d <br /> maintenance (O&M) activities and collect samples and prepare a report <br /> every 3 months to determine the effectiveness of the treatment system <br /> ASE will visit the site peiiodically to check the performance of the system <br /> backflush the carbon canisters, if necessary, and repair any problems that <br /> arise <br /> ASE will also collect influent (pre-treatment) and after carbon canister <br /> (post-treatment) water samples eves y three months for analysis of TPH-G, <br /> BTEX, the five fuel oxygenates, and lead scavenges s by EPA Method 8260B <br /> ASE will prepare and issue a report in the following month that details the <br /> quarter's activities Should it be deter mined that hydrocarbons a e <br /> breaking-through the first carbon canister, ASE will replace that canister <br /> with a new one <br /> A copy of the quarterly iepoit will go to the property owner, tenants, oui <br /> client, and the appropriate regulatory agencies <br /> Should you have any questions or comments please feel free to give us a <br /> call at (925) 820-9391 <br /> - 3 - <br />
