r <br /> H2QGEOLI <br /> A GROUND WATER CONSULTANCY <br /> P O Box 2165 ■ Livermore, Cahfomia 94551 ■ (925)373-9211 <br /> I <br />' STEP DRAWDOWN TEST <br /> AND CONSTANT RATE TEST <br /> OF WELL EW-1, AUGUST 19-20, 2000 <br />' AND WELL EW-I CAPTURE ZONE ANALYSIS <br /> 2072 WEST YOSEMITE AVENUE <br /> MANTECA, CALIFORNIA <br />' 10 INTRODUCTION <br /> This report presents flow rate and water level data collected during a step drawdown test and a <br />' 1000-minute constant rate pump test of extraction well EW-1 associated with the remediation <br /> project at Frank's One Stop, 2072 West Yosemite Avenue in the City of Manteca, California <br /> These tests were authorized by Aquascience Engineers, Inc on August 10, 2000 <br /> IA step drawdown test was conducted in extraction well EW-1 on August 17, 2000 The data <br /> from the step drawdown test was analyzed and an optimum nominal long term constant rate test <br />' pumping rate of 1 5t gallons per minute (GPM) was selected During the constant rate pump test <br /> water levels were periodically recorded m the pumping well and in six observation wells The <br /> discharge rate from well EW-I was also penodically recorded from a flow meter <br /> Waterum ed from EW-i during the step drawdown test (200 gallons) was temporarily stored <br /> P P <br /> in 55 gallon polydrums During the constant rate pump test 1,476 gallons was pumped and <br /> temporarily stored m a 6,000 gallon polytank The water produced during the step test was <br /> transferred to the polytank <br />
