In January 2001, video and cement-bond logs were collected on the wells <br /> located at 17950, 17926, 17904, 17933 and 17886 Airport Way The <br /> total depths of the wells ranged from 46-feet bgs to 84-feet bgs With the <br /> exception of the irrigation well located at 17886 Airport Way, no slots <br /> were visible in the well casings, and water appeared to enter most of <br /> these wells through an open hole beneath the bottom of the casings <br /> With the exception of the well located at 17933 Airport Way, all of the <br /> wells appeared to have at least some form of a cement seal <br /> 3 . 0 SCOPE OF WORK (SOW) <br /> Based on the requirements outlined in the November 30, 2000 letter <br /> from the San Joaquin County PHS-EHD, the following was the proposed <br /> scope of work for this phase of the protect <br /> 1) Obtain the necessary drilling permit from San Joaquin County PHS- <br /> EHD <br /> 2) Obtain any necessary access agreements and encroachment permits <br /> . to conduct the drilling <br /> 3) Drill soil borings in 10 locations using a loose transect approach with <br /> a grid layout of approximately 400-feet by 400-feet <br /> 4) At each location, an initial boring was drilled to depth for the <br /> collection of lithologic and hydrogeologic information A second <br /> boring was then drilled in each location for the collection of water <br /> and/or soil samples <br /> 5) Collect discrete groundwater samples from each unit of high <br /> permeability <br /> 6) Analyze each groundwater sample described in task 5 at a state <br /> certified analytical laboratory for TPH-D by EPA Method 8015, a n d <br /> TPH-G, BTEX, seven oxygenates (including ethanol and methanol), the <br /> lead scavengers 1,2-DCA and 1,2-dibromoethane (1,2-EDB), and 1 ,2- <br /> DCP by EPA Method 8260 <br /> 7) In at least one boring, ASE was to collect a soil sample from each <br /> significantly different unit and submit these samples to a <br /> • <br /> Franks One Stop Report — March 2001 <br /> -9- <br />
