collected from 8 5-feet bgs in borings P-5 and MW-15 were submitted to <br /> Kiff Analytical This depth represented the highest OVM concentrations in <br /> boring P-5 All of the samples were analyzed for TPH-D by modified FPA <br /> Method 8015 and TPH-G, BTEX, HVOCs, oxygenates and alcohols by FPA <br /> Method 8260 The analytical results are tabulated in Table One A copy <br /> of the certified analytical reports and chain of custody forms are included <br />' in Appendix D <br /> The soil sample from P-3 11 0-feet bgs contained 0 080 ppm MTBE a n d <br />' 0 071 ppm tert-butanol (TBA) The soil sample from P-4 11 0-feet b g s <br /> contained 1 4 ppm TPH-G, 320 ppm TPH-D, 0 0073 ppm toluene, 0 01 1 <br /> ppm ethyl benzene, 0 092 ppm total xylenes, 0 033 ppm MTBE and 0 3 1 <br />' ppm TBA The soil sample collected from P-5 8 5-feet bgs contained 670 <br /> ppm TPH-G, 320 ppm TPH-D, 12 ppm toluene, 7 9 ppm ethyl benzene, 5 6 <br /> ppm total xylenes and 0 20 ppm MTBE No hydrocarbons were detected i n <br /> Isoil samples analyzed from borings P-1, P-2, MW-13, MW-14 and MW-15 <br /> No HVOCs were detected in any of the soil samples analyzed <br /> 7 . 0 MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION, DEVELOPMENT A N D <br /> SAMPLING <br /> MOD110ring Well Installation <br /> Groundwater monitoring wells MW-13 through MW-15 were installed in <br /> borings MW-13 through MW-15, respectively Piezometers P-1 through <br /> P-5 were constructed in borings P-1 through P-5, respectively All of these <br /> monitoring wells and piezometers were constructed with 2-inch diameter, <br /> 0 020-inch factory slotted, flush-threaded, Schedule 40 PVC well screen <br /> I and blank casing Each of these well are screened between <br /> 9-feet bgs and the total depth of the boring of 19-feet bgs Lonestar <br /> #2/12 Monterey sand occupies the annular space between the borehole <br /> and the casing from the bottom of the boring to approximately 1 -foot <br /> above the screen A 1-foot thick hydrated bentonite layer separates the <br /> sand from the overlying cement surface seal The cement surface seal in <br /> these shallow wells/piezometers was placed by gravity free-fall <br /> Monitoring wells MW-11 and MW-12 were constructed using 2-inch <br /> diameter, 0020-inch factoiy slotted, flush-threaded, Schedule 80 PVC well <br /> screen and blank casing Monitoring wells MW-11 is screened between <br /> 55-feet bgs and the total depth of the well of 70-feet bgs Monitoring well <br /> MW-12 is screened between 57-feet bgs and the total depth of the well of <br /> 72-feet bgs Lonestar #2112 Monterey sand occupies the annular space <br /> between the borehole and the casing in each of these wells from t h e <br />' Franks One Stop Report -- May 2000 <br /> -9- <br />
