Flow and directional <br /> monitoring must be initiated by 1 March 2005. <br /> 2 Samples shall be collected every two weeks when discharging to the receiving water. <br /> 3 Temperature and pH shall be determined at the time of sample collection. <br /> 4 Detection limits will be equal to or less than the lowest minimum level published in <br /> Appendix 4 of the Policy for Implementation of Toxics Standards for Inland Surface <br /> Waters, Enclosed Bays, and Estuaries of California (known as the State Implementation <br /> Plan). <br /> 5 Utilize Method 1631 with a detection limit of 0.0005 ug/l. <br /> 6 Trihalomethanes include bromoform, chloroform,bromodichloromethane, and <br /> dibromochloromethane. <br /> 7 Standard minerals shall include all major cations and anions and include a verification that <br /> the analysis is complete(i.e., cation/anion balance). <br /> 8 Concurrent with effluent sampling. <br /> In conducting the receiving water sampling, a log shall be kept of the receiving water conditions <br /> throughout the reach bounded by Stations R-1 and R-2. Attention shall be given to the presence or <br /> absence of: <br /> a. Floating or suspended matter e. Visible films, sheens or coatings <br /> b. Discoloration f. Fungi, slimes, or objectionable growths <br /> c. Bottom deposits g. Potential nuisance conditions <br /> d. Aquatic life <br /> Notes on receiving water conditions shall be summarized in the monitoring report. <br />
