REVISED MONITORING IND REPORTING PROGRAM NO. 97-115 6 <br /> CITY OF MANTECA AND CITY OF LATHROP <br /> WASTEWATER QUALITY CONTROL FACILITY <br /> SAN JOAQUINCOUNTY <br /> Samples shall be collected at 1-foot increments. <br /> z Each location shall be sampled during the month of April. <br /> 3 Soluble salts shall be determined using test methods described in Methods of Soil <br /> Analysis, Part 2, Chemical and Microbiological Properties, Second Edition, Edited by <br /> Page, Miller and Keeney; American Society of Agronomy, Inc., Soil Science Society <br /> of America, Inc.: 1982 Page 168 et seq., or other acceptable test methods with prior <br /> approval by the Executive Officer. Analytical results shall report the soil/water ratio. <br /> 4 Total Metals shall include analyses for Cadmium, Chromium, Copper, Lead,Nickel, <br /> and Zinc. <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> The groundwater monitoring wells shall be monitored for the following: <br /> Type of <br /> Parameters Units Sample Freauencv <br /> COD mg/1 Grab Monthly <br /> pH pH Units Grab Monthly <br /> Nitrate mg/1 Grab Monthly <br /> Total Dissolved Solids mg/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> Metalsl mg/l Grab Yearly <br /> Ground Water Elevation Feet-MSL ---- Monthly <br /> Dissolved Cadmium, Copper, Lead, Nickel, and Zinc. <br /> WATER SUPPLY MONITORING FOR CITY OF MANTECA& CITY OF LATHROP <br /> A sampling station shall be established where a representative sample of the municipal water supply can <br /> be obtained. Samples shall be collected at the same time as influent and effluent samples for the same <br /> period. The following shall constitute the water supply monitoring program. <br /> Sampling <br /> Constituents Units Freauencv <br /> Standard Mineralsl mg/l Yearly <br /> Standard minerals include Total Dissolved Solids, Electrical Conductivity, <br /> Chloride, Sulfate, Nitrate, Bicarbonate Alkalinity, Carbonate Alkalinity, <br /> Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium, pH, and Hardness. <br />
