These will not count towards your generator status, but records do need to be <br /> kept. The container should be kept closed at all times except when adding or removing <br /> waste. <br /> The paper used oil filters will also have to be closed in a closed container and labeled as <br /> Hazardous Waste (labeling info attached). The accumulation start date will need to be <br /> written once you have a combined weight of 220 pounds of total hazardous waste on site. <br /> (We can convert the oil to pounds. One gallon of oil is equivalent to 7 pounds.) The <br /> container should be kept closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. <br /> How is the container labeled?
