S b N J 0 A Q U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> COUNTY— <br /> Small <br /> OUNTYSmall Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> ARYZTA LLC 920 N SHAW RD, STOCKTON August 05, 2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> -One blue metal 55 gallon drum of used oil was observed in the hazardous waste storage area with oil covering the <br /> lid. <br /> -One grey metal 55 gallon drum of used oil was observed in the hazardous waste storage area with oil pooled in the <br /> middle of the lid. <br /> Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion,or release of hazardous <br /> waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean up the <br /> oil and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting <br /> documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> Two yellow spill pallets were observed with oil/oily absorbent pads in the bottom. All facility communications or <br /> alarm systems,fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment,where required, <br /> shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency. Immediately begin <br /> this practice. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> One 55 gallon metal drum of used oil was observed in the hazardous waste storage area with a lid with an opening. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately <br /> close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> -Two blue metal 55 gallon approximately half full drums of used oil were observed in the hazardous waste storage <br /> area with accumulation start dates of 9/28/18. The last available disposal record for used oil was dated 9/18/18. <br /> -One grey metal 55 gallon drum approximately half full was observed in the hazardous waste storage area with an <br /> accumulation start date of 5/10/2016. <br /> Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste <br /> stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days.
