All <br /> hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately close <br /> these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> One black metal 55 gallon drum of oily solids was observed in the hazardous waste storage area with an <br /> accumulation start date of 5/1/2018. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and <br /> do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately <br /> contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the <br /> manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> One black metal 55 gallon drum of oily solids was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without hazardous <br /> properties on the label. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> One black metal 55 gallon drum of drained used oil filters was observed open in the hazardous waste storage area. <br /> One 5 gallon plastic bucket of drained used oil filters was observed open and without a label. Used oil filters shall <br /> be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters,"and <br /> marked with an accumulation start date.
