(AGE) to <br /> delay the installation of the two remaining monitoring wells,the in-situ air sparging test well, <br /> and the soil vapor extraction test well as proposed in Work PlanAd&nrIMAugust 1999 dated <br /> August 10,2000,until cone-penetration testing (CPT) is performed at the above-referenced <br /> site. PHS/EHD agreed that CPT is appropriate to use to characterize the geology at the site <br /> in order to design monitoring wells that are properly screened, and to define the vertical <br /> extent of the contamination in soil and groundwater. In a telephone conversation with <br /> AGE on October 10,2000,AGE requested an extension on the timeframe to submit a work <br /> plan for the CPT work <br /> A work plan for the CPT work is to be submitted to PHS/EHD no later than November 20, <br /> 2000. The CPT work must commence no later than December 20,2000.
