In recent groundwater monitoring events, the off-site MTBE <br /> concentrations have decreased significantly and the plume seems to be shrinking. As such, the Oversight <br /> Agency (Central Valley RWQCB) has directed that we not install the off-site wells that were permitted by your <br /> Agency and instead evaluate the contaminate Fate and Transport and move in the direction of case closure. <br /> Attached for your reference are a letter dated April 4, 2013, and a follow-up email dated July 1, 2013 from the <br /> RWQCB directing us not to install the off-site wells. <br /> Given these developments, there is no longer a requirement to install the wells.
