ASSET Laboratories Date: 28-Mar-17 <br /> CLIENT: Pacific Edge Engineering <br /> Project: Manteca Firing Range, 0025 CASE NARRATIVE <br /> Lab Order: N023518 <br /> SAMPLE RECEIVING/GENERAL COMMENTS: <br /> Samples were received intact with proper chain of custody documentation. <br /> Cooler temperature and sample preservation were verified upon receipt of samples if applicable. <br /> Information on sample receipt conditions including discrepancies can be found in attached Sample <br /> Receipt Checklist Form. <br /> Samples were analyzed within method holding time. <br /> Analytical Comments for EPA 601OB: <br /> Matrix Spike (MS) and Matrix Spike Duplicate (MSD) are outside recovery criteria for some analytes <br /> in QC samples N023518-004A-MS and N023518-004A-MSD possibly due to matrix interference. The <br /> associated Laboratory Control Sample (LCS) recovery was acceptable. <br /> RPD for Sample Duplicate (DUP) N023518-01OA-DUP is outside criteria for lead possibly due to non- <br /> homogeneity of sample; however, the Laboratory Control Sample (LCS)validated the analytical batch. <br /> Matrix Spike (MS) and Matrix Spike Duplicate (MSD) samples N023518-010A-MS, N023 5 18-0 5 0A- <br /> MS and N023518-05OA-MSD are outside recovery criteria for lead possibly due to matrix interference. <br /> The associated Laboratory Control Sample (LCS) recovery was acceptable. <br /> Analytical Comments for EPA 7471A: <br /> Matrix Spike (MS) is outside recovery criteria; however, the Laboratory Control Sample (LCS) <br /> validated the analytical batch. <br /> Analytical Comments for EPA 8270C-SIM: <br /> Laboratory Control Sample (LCS) recovery biased low for fluoranthene.
