Subsequent to email discussion on 21
August 2017 between Central Valley Water Board staff and Mr. Tim Cuellar of AGE, AGE
submitted the Site Assessment Work Plan Addendum—August 2017(Addendum) dated
28 August 2017.
In the Work Plan and Addendum, AGE proposes to advance a total of five (5) borings: three (3) on-
Site shallow soil borings and two (2) off-Site downgradient borings to delineate downgradient I
hydrocarbon impacts to groundwater. AGE will complete one of the downgradient borings as a
monitoring well. The borings are proposed as follows:
t
Total Soil Sampling Grab Groundwater Sampling Well Completion !
Boring Depth Depth Depth Screen Interval
ft bgs) (ft bgs) Analysis (ft bgs) Analysis (ft bgs)
P-16 115 5, 10 TPHg, TPHd, 30, 60, 90, TPHg, TPHd,
VOCs 115 VOCs
P-17 thru 5 5 TPHg, TPHd, —
P-19 VOCs
TPHg, TPHd, TPHg, TPHd,
MW-14 90 5, 10 VOCs 30, 6090 VOCs 50-65 I
TPHg=total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline;TPHd=TPH as diesel;VOCs=volatile organic compounds;ft bgs--feet
below ground surface
AGE proposes to advance the MW-14 boring to 90 feet below ground surface (bgs)to collect grab
groundwater samples, then to backfill the boring with bentonite chips from 90 to 65 feet bgs for
completion as a monitoring well with a proposed screened interval from 50 to 65 feet bgs. For
reference, the 30, 60, 90, and 115 foot sample depths correlate to groundwater zones A, B, C, and
D, respectively, as established by AGE.
KARL E.
