The following was found in an open cardboard box on the floor beneath the store's baskets containing "go-back"and damaged items(see photos IMG 6736-8, 6741): a.A partially-empty open bottle of tacky glue. b.A bottle of glue leaking out onto the bottom of the cardboard box. The spilled glue appeared to be mixed with spilled blue paint. Ryan did not know how long the leakage had been there, but believed the items would ultimately be processed as hazardous waste(HW).When Ryan scanned the glue,the hand-held scanner stated the glue should be placed in an STOU HW tote. 2.A container of Noise Putty was found with leakage on the outside of the container, and missing its lid. The putty was found on a shelf near the store's baskets containing"go-back"and damaged items.The hand-held scanner stated "See guide"for the putty's disposal code. Ryan was unsure which HW tote the item should be placed in, since the Products To Be Treated As Hazardous Waste guide, posted nearby, did not have putty on its list. Ryan did not know what to do in order to make an accurate HW determination when the scanner nor the guide provided a determination. (IMG 6730, 6742-7) 3. The following items were found in or next to the first of two open cardboard boxes,which were sitting on a pallet that was located on the floor next to the cardboard bailer.A sign posted on the wall above the items read "Damages No Trash,"and was marked with an arrow pointing down toward the items (IMG 6774-90): a.A partially empty 14 fl oz bottle of Ultra Ajax Vinegar+ Lime liquid dish soap,which was missing its cap. b.An open 16.3 oz box of Arm& Hammer Extra Strength Carpet Odor Eliminator. c.A seemingly empty 96 oz bottle of LA's Totally Awesome Bleach Lemon Scent. d.A partially empty 9 oz bottle of Angel of Mine Cornstarch Baby Powder,which was missing its lid. e.A seemingly empty white bottle which was engraved with the word "Clorox," but was missing its manufacture label. f.A 30 oz Home Store Oxy Dish Soap,which was missing its cap. g.A 13 oz Glass&Surface Cleaner aerosol can. h.A partially empty 22 fl oz container of Spic and Span Antibacterial Spray Cleaner. i.A 32 fl oz container of Driver's Choice Tire Shine. j.Two partially empty 11.25 fl oz containers of Assured Moisturizing Hand Soap. k.An 8 oz.Air Wick Essential Oils aerosol can. I.An open 16.3 oz box of Arm &Hammer Pet Fresh Carpet Odor Eliminator. m.A broken Skeeter Beeter Citronella Outdoor Candle. n.A 50 fl oz bottle of LA's Totally Awesome Ultra Deluxe Liquid Dish Detergent,which was missing its cap. o. Two partially empty 64 fl oz containers of LA's Totally Awesome Laundry Detergent. p.A partially empty 35 fl oz container of Classic Final Touch fabric softener. q.An open package of Sesame Street Scented Flushable Toddler Wipes. r.A seemingly empty 32 fl oz container of LA's Totally Awesome Oxygen Orange All Purpose Degreaser, missing it's cap. s.A seemingly empty 24 fl oz container of Comet Classic Bleach Kitchen Cleaner, missing it's cap. t.Two seemingly empty 15 oz containers of In Wash Fragrance Booster crystals. u.A partially empty 32 fl oz container of Home Store All-Purpose Cleaner With Bleach. v.A bottle of Palmolive Oxy Power Degreaser dish liquid.
