Floors <br /> underneath counter are now bare concrete and lack coved base tiles.There is old trash and broken pieces of tiles under this <br /> area. This area shall be up to code. Cabinet needs to be removed and contractor shall provide floors and walls with up to <br /> code finish. Correct by 3 weeks.Also noticed that a small area close to hand sink at the front of prep area has wood base. <br /> Remove and provide coved ceramic base.DO NOT USE WOOD FOR BASE. <br /> Metal base outside of walk in cooler is loose. Base shall be sealed to exterior of walk in cooler by 2 weeks(repeat violation). <br /> Walk in cooler floor is not clean. Detail clean and maintain. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:The walls/ceilings shall have durable,smooth,nonabsorbent,light-colored,and washable surfaces. All floor <br /> surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br /> cleanable.Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas,except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br /> unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
