UNIFIED PROGRAM HAZARDOUS WASTE INSPECTION REPORT <br /> CONTINUATION <br /> VIKTRON, 1443 NAVY DR., STOCKTON. <br /> The inspection report, dated 7/17/00 and 7/20/00, has been amended to include the <br /> description of each violation and the recommended action to be taken by owner/operator. <br /> 1. The facility did not submit a report on waste minimization to the Department every 2 <br /> year. <br /> Within 30 days of receipt of this report, submit waste minimization report to the <br /> Department. HSC 25244.4 <br /> 3. The SB 14 review and plan were not available for the inspection. <br /> Within 30 days of receipt of this report, obtain SB 14 review and plan. HSC <br /> 25244.21 <br /> 12. Blue crystal and liquid chemical were found on the floor near Copper Etching Unit <br /> in Plating Area, absorbent or chemical crystal on the floor near Marseco Scrubber <br /> Unit in Plating Area, green liquid under Gold Plating Unit, brown liquid under <br /> Cyanide Unit, chemical liquid on floor in several locations throughout the Plating <br /> Area. <br /> Within 7 days of receipt of this report, maintain the facility to minimize the release <br /> of the hazardous waste. <br /> CCR 66265.31 <br /> 20. This violation applied to the following: <br /> a. 2 yellow container in Solder Mask Department had no accumulation date. <br /> b. 2 5-gallons containers and a 55-gallons drum of green stuff containing Glycol <br /> Ether in Solder Mask Department, a bucket under Solder Strip table, 2 buckets <br /> collecting green liquid under gold plating unit, a bucket collecting black stuff at <br /> silver plating area, 9 drums of waste at waste water treatment unit, several small <br /> containers near container cleaning area and 6 plastic containers near container <br /> cleaning area had no label. <br /> c. The label on a yellow container containing plastic liner of Rona Screen (Glycol <br /> Ether)was not legible. <br /> d. Labels on a black container of Solder Strip Solution and on 4 drums of waste at <br /> waste water treatment unit had no generator information, EPA number, etc. <br /> They contained only hazardous waste, date and content. <br /> e. A yellow container near container cleaning area had a blank hazardous waste <br /> label. <br /> Within 7 days of receipt of this report, provide hazardous waste label on all <br /> containers described above in accordance CCR 26262.34. <br /> CCR 66262.34 <br /> 21. The following containers were not closed <br /> a. 2 buckets and one 55-gallons drums in Solder Mask Department. <br />
