Spent cleaners and conditioners which are hazardous solely due to copper or copper compounds with less than 5000 ppm <br /> copper. The volume limit for conditional authorization is 1,000 gallons of this wastestream per facility in any calendar month. <br /> (These cleaners are limited to surfactants and detergents and do not contain microetch, etchant, plating or metal stripping <br /> solutions or solutions containing oxidizers, or any cleaner based on organic solvents). (These wastestreams and processes <br /> are only conditionally authorized until January 1, 1995, unless extended by the Department.) Treatment is using: <br /> ❑ a. Phase separation, including precipitation, by filtration, centrifugation, or gravity settling, including the use of <br /> demulsifiers and flocculants. <br /> ❑ b. Ion exchange, including metallic replacement, <br /> ❑ C. Reverse osmosis <br /> ❑ d. Adsorption <br /> ❑ e. PH adjustment of aqueous waste with a PH of between 2.0 and 12.5 <br /> ❑ f. Electrowinning of solutions, unless those solutions contain hydrochloric acid <br /> D. NARRATIVE DESCRIPTIONS: Provide a brief description of the speck waste treated and the treatment process used. <br /> 1.
