10. No material to be stockpiled in street or sidewalk. Use of private property shall be only at permission of property owner. 11. Traffic control for work within the public right-of-way, including overhead operations, shall comply with Caltrans Traffic Control Manual, current issue. Public Streets to remain open at all times. Precautionary measures shall be taken with construction vehicles and equipment that may create sign-obstruction for traveling public. One-way traffic requires flaggers present at all times. 12. If scope of work involves full street closures, detour plan requires submittal to Traffic Division, Public Works Dept. 333-6706, for approval. 13.Notify Municipal Service Center, Rich Lenfestey, 333-6740, regarding damaged or destroyed public water and sewer services and mains; 14. Boring operations shall require interior video inspection of City underground facilities crossed by the new installation provided by the applicant at no cost to the City. Copies of the video tapes will be provided to the City. All potholing to be kept at a minimum. 15. All work related utility markings shall be properly removed. Contact Public Works Inspector for removal information. Necessary work performed by City forces as a result of failure of proper removal shall be billed; 16. Access to adjacent driveways to be maintained; 17. Sedimentation on pavement shall be removed within 24 hours. Street pavement to be kept in a clean and neat manner. 18. No obstruction of fire hydrants; 19. Proper notification of proprietors/residents required prior to start of construction; access to driveways to be maintained. Applicant shall not disrupt refuse service; coordination of work schedule with refuse service is required. 20. Landscaped areas and sprinkler systems disturbed to be returned to a like or better condition. 21.New gas mains shall be located along same alignment as existing gas mains. No offsets are allowed; 22. Existing gas mains to be abandoned/deactivated shall be removed or new mains shall be installed below existing mains to be abandoned/deactivated in place; 23. If trenchless methods are to be used, a Trenchless Installation Plan shall be submitted at least 14 days prior to anticipated start of work. Plan shall include information reflecting existing utility locations, pot-holing, information(including measurements to the top of existing pipelines etc.) 24. As builts shall be provided to the Public Works Department at completion of work; 25. All work and work related activity is to be accomplished in compliance within the terms of the NPDES guidelines and PM-10 dust control requirements.
