VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of the food facility. COMPLAINANT STATES SHE PURCHASED YaKi-SOBA CHOW MEIN NOODLES,WHEN COMPLAINANT OPENED THE PACKAGE AN AMMONIA SMELL WAS NOTICED. The owner was aware of the complaint.The customer returned the noodles but the owner states she does not know what ammonia smells like. No other complaint have been received by the business. The owner took me to the display case where these noodles are kept.These noodles are kept in a refrigerator at 41 F.These noodles are precooked. The owner opened one packaged to smell it.The noodles do have a smell of lime like or ammonia when the nose is very close to the product. It seems that it is a normal smell. The package has ingredients as whole wheat flour,whole eggs,water, soybean oil and food color yellow#5. Store owner must notify the processor obout this complaint to determine that it is safe to consume these noodles.) emailed the processor at nudoinc1 @gmail.com to find out more information about what could be causing the amell.
