Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Went to the facility and spoke to the owner about the complaint. <br /> COMPLAINANT STATES SHE PURCHASED YaKi-SOBA CHOW MEIN NOODLES,WHEN COMPLAINANT OPENED THE <br /> PACKAGE AN AMMONIA SMELL WAS NOTICED. <br /> The owner was aware of the complaint.The customer returned the noodles but the owner states she does not know what <br /> ammonia smells like. No other complaint have been received by the business. The owner took me to the display case where <br /> these noodles are kept.These noodles are kept in a refrigerator at 41 F.These noodles are precooked. The owner opened <br /> one packaged to smell it.The noodles do have a smell of lime like or ammonia when the nose is very close to the product. It <br /> seems that it is a normal smell.
