Additional Notes:
Environmental Compliance Manager, Darryl Dinson had a conversation with the Store
Manager, Sarah Bonilla, regarding taking waste fluorescent bulbs generated at the
facility to Home Depot. It is our policy to properly categorize and place all hazardous
waste generated in our hazardous waste accumulation rack for pickup by our authorized
hazardous waste hauler. Proper disposal of waste fluorescent bulbs is also covered in
the annual hazardous waste training video.
Normally we utilize a lighting vendor to replace our lighting and they take the spent
bulbs with them. This practice is not our policy and the Store Manager, Sarah Bonilla,
was counseled regarding the activity. All waste is processed through our hazardous
waste hauler.
