Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within <br />30 days. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />403 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br />waste. <br />OBSERVATION: In the hazardous waste storage area, one 3 gallon drain pan containing drained used paper/metal <br />oil filters was missing a lid. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br />storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close the container and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br />when not adding or removing waste.
