SAN JOAQUIN <br />COUNTY <br />Environmental Health Department <br />AMENDED <br />12/19/2019 <br />Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Facility Name: <br />Facility Address: <br />1 <br />Date: <br />DELGADO AUTO REPAIR <br />101 W DR MARTIN LUTHER KING JR BLVD, <br />December 06, 2019 <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />Item # <br />Remarks <br />303 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br />equipment. <br />OBSERVATION: The used oil secondary containment had used oil in it. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All facility communications or alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control <br />equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure <br />its proper operation in time of emergency. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the secondary containment into proper working order by repair, replacement or <br />testing. Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within <br />30 days. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />403 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br />waste. <br />OBSERVATION: In the hazardous waste storage area, one 3 gallon drain pan containing drained used paper/metal <br />oil filters was missing a lid. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br />storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close the container and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br />when not adding or removing waste.
