Environmental Health Department <br />Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Date: <br />September 12, 2019 <br /> Facility Address: <br /> 10304 W LINNE RD, TRACY <br /> Facility Name: <br /> Oldcastle Infrastructure <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />RemarksItem # <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br />OBSERVATION: The following was observed near hazardous waste storage area: <br />- One milling machine observed with used oil accumulating at the base of the equipment. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br />possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br />waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean accumulating oil on milling machine. Manage the waste according to <br />Title 22 California Code of Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to <br />the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department describing the storage and final disposition of the <br />cleaned up waste. <br />This is a minor violation. <br /> 505 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label stationary hazardous waste tanks. <br />OBSERVATION: The hazardous waste tank storing used oil] does not have complete labeling. <br />- One approximately 300 gallon tank with used oil observe with no hazardous waste label found in hazardous waste <br />storage area. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the words “Hazardous Waste” and the <br />accumulation start date. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Label the hazardous waste tanks with the words “Hazardous Waste” and the accumulation <br />start date.
