1
Christine Lawrence
From:Christine Lawrence
Sent:Monday, July 29, 2019 2:22 PM
To:'Brian Nelson'
Cc:Brian Nelson; Jim Cambra; Dennis Highnote; Larry Crabtree
Subject:RE: MHX LLC Stockton Pape hazardous Waste Reciept
Hello Brian,

Thank you for sending me the hazardous waste receipts from Pape. After reviewing the documents I have determined
MHX Solutions located at 1015 Frye Ave does not qualify for the mobile maintenance provision of the Health and Safety
Code. Receipts show that forklift maintenance generates non-metal fuel filters. As such, MHX is considered a co-
generator of the fuel filters and must obtain a hazardous waste generator permit in San Joaquin County.

For clarification, hazardous wastes that cannot be managed under Health and Safety Code section 25250.12 may
include, but are not limited to, the following: (1) metal used oil filters that are not drained of used oil, (2) lead acid
batteries other than those equivalent to or smaller than automotive batteries, (3) antifreeze that is characteristically
hazardous, (4) fuel and undrained fuel filters that are characteristically hazardous, and (5) used absorbent that is
characteristically hazardous.

At this time I will switch your permit from a small quantity generator to a used oil only generator. For permitting
purposes, San Joaquin County EHD does include the generation of oil filters as “used oil only”.

As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact me at (209) 468-3562.

Thank you,

Christine Lawrence

From: Brian Nelson <briann@mhx.solutions>
Sent: Friday, July 26, 2019 10:30 AM
To: Christine Lawrence <clawrence@sjgov.org>
Cc: Brian Nelson <BrianN@anconservices.com>; Jim Cambra <jimc@mhx.solutions>; Dennis Highnote
<dennish@mhx.solutions>; Larry Crabtree <larryc@mhx.solutions>
Subject: MHX LLC Stockton Pape hazardous Waste Reciept

July 26, 2019

Hi Christine,

Please see attached Pape hazardous waste receipts for MHX Stockton facility.

Thank you for your help in this matter!

Regards,
