the
FIS 1fation1-didWJ?esidential AdvanTe ' y #erns
For stinger pipe lengths up to 24" long, the "normal low operat-
ing liquid level"will be approximately 5"-6"below the top of
the RSV cage. (The normal low operating liquid level is the level
at which 100%of the filtrate returns to the tank.)For most resi-
dential applications, the recommended surge volume—the vol-
ume between the low lied level and the high water alarm float
—is approximately 254 gallons. For Mode 3 installations, the
duckbill model RSV,which has a flexible PVC tube that vents
the RSV cage to atmosphere, is required.
Be sure to check the plans for any site-specific or tank-specific
float settings. The top float is normally set equal with the tank's
invert of inlet. The bottom float should be approximately four
inches below the normal low operating level.
NOTE: Before leaving the site, verify that the "low water
alarmlredundant ofd'"'float is positioned 10"below the top of the
RSV cage.
----- UFor.W# a
IwirtaWl.iiialdter;
W 2004 OiSPOW 21226*0INC., NIM-ATX-AX-1
31 Rev I1,01104
