Following testing, two design modification were made to the plant that had the potential for having an impact
on the treatment process.
During the testing exhaust from the thermal processor was vented to the atmosphere. MicroSepTec
proposed venting the thermal processor through the primary clarifier 20 inches below the surface of the
water. NSF reviewed this modification and found that it would not have a negative impact on the treatment
performance of the plant. A drawing of the exhaust pipe is included in this appendix.
During the testing the sludge recirculation pump ran once every hour for 40 seconds. MicroSepTec
proposed changing this to run in four 10 second pumpout cycles every hour. The 10 second on times for
the pump are separated by three 120 second off times. NSF reviewed this modification and found that it
would not have a negative impact on treatment performance.
Based on the reviews, the design modifications are approved for use in the certified EnviroServer 600.
991tB12o?5Jt]60 This report may not be reproduced in whole mIn part P 48 ot49
Final Report withowt.ftw pnmed written consent of NSF IrAemationat.• ,gpry pop
